Yup, I can confirm that the triangle glass is attached, so if your windows are tinted these pieces will need to be redone if you get them replaced.

Just found this on my car, guess Ill have to go back to the dealer. Thanks for the tip about using the clearbra to help protect it.

I took mine to the dealer with the same problem. They wouldn't touch it so I opened a case with Toyota. The district service manager approved the replacement of the parts on both sides. The little triangle window and the metal bar are one piece and must be ordered/replaced together. They also had to tint the new windows.

I had to pay to have my windows re-tinted, but the tint place gave me extra material in case it happens again. I also had them put clear bra material on the pillar itself, which should help this from recurring. They only charged me $20 for it, too.
