Correction factor at 6000' is monstrous, on the order of 20 - 22%. So you actually put down something around 230 HP on that dyno. I wish dyno guys were better about listing ambient temps, pressures and correction factors in use.

I think it's great that your tune copes with the altitude this well. I hope it copes with altitude change just as well (gotta come down for air, sometime).

@ CSGMike: I'll get off the damned fence at some point. Not sure where I'll jump to, but I'll be off the fence.

The housing is just too small. If they put a 3" housing in it would support more than this blower can make. As it stands I could see this thing easily maxing out the maf at sea level. It is a really simple fix to change the housing and the tune, though.

So I finally discovered today that the header was in contact with the skid plate. JDL had me hammer it out and it was a night and day difference. Car has quited down especially in the cabin. Car is back to being very smooth. Thank the God's! Love it now. My car is back!

Congrats @enivid!

To clarify, you are maxing out the MAF with no catalytic converters and a custom calibration. The JR CARB calibration with the standard JR MAF setup operates correctly on cars with catalytic converters.

These guys aren't the first to mention having issues with the supplied maf housing being too small. Would you consider offering a kit with an optional larger maf housing? You would open up your kit to a much bigger market of guys looking to tune with the basic ecutek software aswell as anyone using a different tuning platform that doesn't allow hybrid maf/map tuning.

Curious: will the JR CARB tune work on a de-catted car as-is then? Or would a catless car require a custom tune?
