Yup! It's a separate piece held on by a lot of adhesive tape. I stuck it in the oven for five minutes at 300 degrees and just pried it off slowly.

wow! any pics of it in the car, installed and all? Does it also mess with our glowing "Scion" in the dash, or no?

I'm in the process if wrapping mine with black suede. My EL panel never worked and I don't care too much for it so I'm unsure if you'd still be able to see it.

The passenger side dash has a hole in the back to pass the wires for the electroluminecent badge. you would need a complete replacement if you want to get rid of it.

It shows scion and then the 10 and then scion again when you turn on the headlights

No I haven't, because I doubt they have a spare of 0008.

On the other 10 series it's more out in the open and viewable. Mine barely sees the light of day, which then never energizes it to glow in dark lol. Yes the inner kid in me wants it out in the open and glowing.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a brand new FR-S 10 series last Friday and wanted to add my info to the board. I'm number 0969. A palindrome if you drop the 0. Anyways, just wanted to post. Hope to see some more FR-S drivers around where I live.

Also, this car is off the freakin' chain. A definite upgrade from an 03' PT Cruiser with a busted timing belt. I love it.
