We’re going to try to answer as many questions as possible as simply as possible. Kraftwerks is the result of over 19 years of high-performance parts manufacturing experience, the last thing we would do is “rush” a kit to market, that being said there is always urgency and excitement behind our products.

Regarding the tune, as always there are improvements and modifications as time goes by, as we are looking into this and will have more information shortly.
We have no need to participate in the assumptions or finger pointing here, whatever the case people are making great power with the Kraftwerks kit and we like that!

Kraftwerks has been taking notes and would like everyone to know we recognize a few things we can improve for the BRZ/FRS community. Out of the many kits sold we might have had a few kits missing some small components, we’re working on improving our packaging system. Please understand your kit is hand packed by Kraftwerks staff members and sometimes us humans can miss things, we apologize for that.

Updates:
-Improved instructions coming shortly with FRS bumper modification requirements, improved oil line routing and a revised reservoir mounting location.
-Customers wanting the quiet Tooth Idler pulley will receive the new component at no charge, call tags will be issued when the new cog pulley has arrived. We are expecting to have them headed to customers doors by March 28th - please contact us with shipping address at support@kraftwerksusa.com
-FRS/BRZ Oil Cooler Kits should be available in 5-6 weeks, the target MSRP is $599

We are happy to see the continued excitement, support and feedback regarding the kit, keep on boost'n!

I don't think it's fair to hint at or out and out accuse DT of sandbagging KW. Remember DT is a tuning company. I'm sure the first "in house" tune they came up with wasn't nearly as good as the latest.

the simple answer is because i don't and am curious as to why the tunes are so different (if in fact so). nonetheless further inquiry will be take offline to avoid any further drama and speculation.

None of the other superchargers needed their "CARB" (I put that in quotes because KW is still not CARB legal) tunes updated.

Innovate's CARB tune was never updated, however there have been many updated delicious tunes, all of which have brought improvements. In fact the biggest update and area to work on is the only real complaint with the factory tune for KW, and that's the low speed drivability....which has been smoothed out as I and mit_pied can now attest to. Mike, I was hoping you'd be at the irvine meet tonight so you could take her for a spin

Yep, I agree. The tune on @Zach3794's FRS was definitely smoother than my KW factory tune at low speeds (initial take-off). Didn't get a chance to open it up to check out the increase in HP, but I'm sure Bill was able to squeeze out some additional HP with his later tunes as well. Thanks for the test drive man.
