do you tune off the map sensor or maf?

Vishnu offer some of the best performance/value, if not the best, around. I'm glad I jumped on the first batch of OFT. Thing just get's better and better.

This is correct. You can still purchase the Vortech kit alone using the OFT dollar discount you earned with the OFT purchase. If you are running another header, you may need to custom tune the map slightly for optimal performance. The main reasons we recommend the OpenFlash Header is because it works, is well built, fairly priced and was a part of the OTS map development. Our goal was to creat a forced induction kit offering that doesn't require any custom tuning or additional fiddling. And using the parts that we recommend allows for just this.

Substitute components can complicate matters a bit. But in the case of using another header, I think the issues are minimal.

Very nice!

Curious, are you looking into CARB approval? Just wondering since you guys are in cali, but I wouldn't really expect it considering how much of a PITA & $$$ that is...

Love how smooth the car drives in the video as well. And looks considerably faster.

e85 tune?

You guys need to implement flex/fuel that would go wonderfully with this kit IMO.

@shiv@vishnu maybe you should put "no CARB" in the title of the thread(s)...

Bro the website description mislead to the wrong interpretation.

If you read: "oft+ofh customers"
It means in my understanding that it's only for who has a combo of oft and ofh.
Not only one of the two.

Glad I can still buy the vortech only with oft.
Now I'll have to see if the OTS file could work well with nameless header or not. It's an EL and as far as I remember the way of tuning EL is different then UEL.

Do you think it will be a big pain in the ass to do it via e-tuning @shiv@vishnu ??

Sounds like Shiv already answered your question about header/e-tune a couple posts up.

EDIT - AdrianG answered one minute before me.

He said custom tune, it's not e-tune.

Maybe the language barrier is the problem here but tuning a header on a dyno and one via etuning can be quite different especially camtiming etc.

Even if the cam angles are not optimal for your particular header this kit will still safely pick up plenty of power. Dyno tune is always the best option though.
