Are there any oil issues with E85? Change more often, or is there a better oil than stock to use with boozeoline?

ETA My next tank will be my first on the corn.

The engine noise is distinctively different in that one range of RPMs it is a little hard to explain. I can put the stock tune back on and that noise is gone at that range.
I think I hear this on my MT as well. Right around 4K (maybe +- 100rpms) the car starts sounding a lot more aggressive. I think Shiv said this is about where timing or VVT lift gets increased, hence the extra sound. I like it myself (although I really need to stuff up the intake pipe because it has that horrible wheezing sound).

My sticker sticks to the backing paper better than it sticks to the car. Speaking of stickers, Rob, you need to include one in then Phantom kit. You Canadians may know your science and technology but you could learn something about ADVERTISING.

I ordered mine last Monday and received it on Friday. I didn't request fast shipment, but got it anyhoo.

I was mildly concerned that I didn't get a confirmation email of the order, but sent an email inquiry about that and it was answered promptly, so no harm no foul. Seems like just a result of a small and busy company.

As for the OFT itself, I plugged it in and went through the read/write process. I used the video on the OFT site to guide me, but it was really not necessary. The thing tells you everything you need to do. Uploaded the Stg1 OTS map and went for a drive.

Totally different car! What torque dip? I was fine with the car before, but the torque dip was noticeable off the line. Now it's really fun!

Overall quite happy. This is my first time doing any sort of electronic tuning to a vehicle.

I've had my OFT for a while now... it has easily been the best bang for buck purchase I've made for my car. It is a certainty you'll pick up 10-15HP with the stage1 tune vs stock.

And if e85 is an option your increase will net 20-30HP, more depending on your mods/bolt-ons. I've flopped back and forth between 93oct and e85 a few times now.. and not once has there been an issue... just smooth reliable powwah!!! (other than the fact we've only got 1 e85 station near my home )

This product works as advertised, and then some. I've since jumped on board with the OpenFlash brand and Vishnu tuning. I will soon be the proud owner of the OF Header and I expect it to be every bit as satisfying a purchase as the OF Tablet has been.

If you are on the fence about whether or not to go with the OFT - do yourself a favor a go with it. You will be pleased with your purchase...

Love it. I'm loving the e85 tune so much, and mileage actually seems better than expected. Wringing it out I should get over 100miles at half a tank so ~20mpg maybe (we'll see when I fill up).

The mileage indicated in the dash display is way out.

apparently its because the fueling was done by adjusting the injector scaling and the fuel mileage is calculated without referance to the scaling tables hence its way off ie its actually using about 25% more fuel than indicated by gas mileage indicator in dash

I'm going by the odometer/trip meter, not the mileage disp. I never calculate my mpg based on electronic displays since they're almost always off.

Sorry I did get your emails yesterday and today but Valentines weekend meant minimal laptop activity according to my fiancé. And the wraith I can get on a forum from poor correspondence pales in comparison to the wraith I can get at home from being on my laptop at inappropriate times

But I did forward all PMs to the sales guys who will be in the office tomorrow and will catch up with all correspondence. No PM will go unanswered.

But as Apoc said, for fastest response, definitely email sales@vishnutuning.com since email are always answered first.
