Just out of curiousity?

Why didn't you use High-temp paint instead of plastidip? I know plastidip is fairly resilient, but I can't see them holding up very long.

That is not going to help with the dirty looks.

I used plastidip for my tips and they're holding up fine, its been a couple of months now. Plus I can just take it off when I want to.

The dip on my emblems looks great after about seven months so I figured let's see how good this stuff can be. So far it seems good.

Also, it's so easy that I could re-dip with minimal time/effort. I can also peel the dip off in the event I sell the muffler delete.

I just figured with a bit of heat the plastidip might not hold up too well. Lol, I wouldn't put it on a manifold, that's for sure

Changed out tranny and diff oil for Gear 300.

Kind of a chore, because my jack and stands aren't the heights they need to be to work well with one another.

Didn't get a chance to drive it yet.
