Ouhei's SWP BRZ
Hello there! I'm coming from the world of Honda's (I've owned 7) and just sold my 2006 s2000 and picked up a 2014 Satin White Pearl BRZ Limited. It's my first non Honda and even though it's only been a few days, I'm in love with the car.
Here's my old s2000: Wrapped Up 05 by PictoriousPhoto, on Flickr I chose the BRZ because I wanted something with more room, quieter on the road, newer and still a purpose built sports car. I shopped around and considered used M3s, Caymans, new Zs, and new Gen Coupes. Ultimately the BRZ felt like the best mix of driving feel, performance, reliability and affordability. I picked up the car on Saturday and it came with a few dealer installed options: - Chrome Fender Trim (I'll be removing these) - Rear Bumper Applique (Keeping it on so long as it doesn't discolor) - Wheel locks - Trunk Mat - Homelink Mirror Here she is parked at home: BRZ Nose by PictoriousPhoto, on Flickr BRZ Front View by PictoriousPhoto, on Flickr BRZ Rear View by PictoriousPhoto, on Flickr Parts have been ordered! On their way so far: - TOM's DOT LED Red Tails - JDM OEM Clear Side Markers - Yellow Lamin-X Fog Light Covers - Perrin 4" Antenna - MTEC Shift Springs - ST Coilovers - Gram Lights 57DR 18x9.5 +38 in Mag Blue - Red/Black Rays Center Caps - Project Kics Leggdura Lugs in Black - Bridgestone RE-11 265/35/18 I still need to order a few parts, mainly the STI Front Lip. I'll post pictures as things start showing up! Last edited by Ouhei; 01-23-2014 at 11:17 AM. |

Parts started coming in! Huge thanks goes out to @GT Motoring for sourcing a lot of these parts at crazy prices for me.

Welcome to the 265/35/18 crew.
I've been meaning to pick up some mtec springs. That install doesn't look fun though. |

Damn. Already modifying suspension and wheels? What a baller haha! I subscribed to your build. Let me know when you receive and install your ST Coilovers! I'm looking into coilovers as of right now and am definitely considering the ST's, I just want more justification from other people.

The MTEC install didn't look too bad, I'll probably try to install them when I have it on a lift for the ST coilovers. Quote:

I am loving the build. I have the exact same car. Those tails are next on my todo list along with adding the cwest sides to my sti lip. I would have loved to buy all the parts at once but slow and steady when you are saving for a house and paying for a wedding!

After this initial round of mods, things will be a bit more normally paced. I have a lot of house plans as well and that's often times more expensive than the car! Congrats on getting married though!
