After driving my mother's Prius for a week, my FRS feels plenty fast to me!

Moral of the story? Economies of scale make it very cheap to throw your company's big V-6 into your top-selling, full-size sedan.

If you're really that concerned about street-racing, go pick up a V6 Camry or Mustang.
Then again, street racing camrys is like street racing minivans. Yes, there is competition involved, but even though there's a winner, everyone's a loser.

Crazy how fast family sedans are getting these days. I remember back in the 1990s a honda accord was slow as shit, a 4cylinder with like 90 hp.

It will be fun to compare when my FR-S shows up at the end of this month.
You won't be disappointed, I prefer my BRZ on weekend drives over the M5 or 460whp STI; it's more enjoyable and satisfying experience.

The frs is faster than a camcorder 4 cyl.
Previous posters were saying that the frs was quicker than a camcord V6, which is false, hence the comparison.

ok this is perfect cuz im coming from a 2013 camry se 2.5 with k&n intake . and to be honest the frs dosent feel hat much quicker unless you keep the revs high.
Ive kept up with my freinds 2011 camry se v6 but to me the FRS has enough power for me

So true.. The corporate V6 is a pretty impressive.. My son had a rav4 with the V6.. A hideous SUV that had a sports car like drivetrain.. That thing was quick off the line and would have dusted my FRS..

Goes to show that "quick off the line" isn't that great of an achievement these days. Any manufacturer can throw a bigger engine into their family cars for moar power, but which of those cars can be considered lightweight, look sexy, handle with fantastic balance, and put a fat grin on the drivers' face in doing so? Definitely not a V6 Camry or Rav4...
