Pics would be awesome. How did you shorten the lines?

Power gains modest for FI, but CARB legal that's very nice for lots of people in the market. Very interested to see power change once you tune past the CARB legal tune/config to see what the car does with exhaust bolt ons and different tune.

I Cut off the clamps on the cooler end of the lines. Then cut the hose from the 90 degree fittings. Once the lines were routed and the cooler mounted, i cut the lines to fit and put new clamps on. Sorry for the crappy pic.

Thanks! So it looks like the cooler fits in the original mounting location just fine without getting in the intercoolers way! Great news. I wonder if you could get the lines to fit with the charge pipe without shortening them if you removed the factory washer tank or went with a smaller one from KW or Vortech.

I think @Dezoris fit his Perrin OC kit without modification to a Vortech.

If I shortened the lines myself I'd be worried sick about them leaking.

I dont think the Perrin oil cooler lines fit well with Vortech on FRS because of piping and headlamp design compared to BRZ. I also will have to trim the bumpers black plastic caps at the corner of the mouth opening next season as they are pressing on the lines.

I would love a different more integrated cooler that would fit perfectly.

Next photo session, could you please show us some more detail on the drive side of the Rotrex? It's clear the friction surface has to be the reverse side of the belt (for correct rotation). I'd like to see Jackson's solution.

Edit: Q's partially answered by JR installation manual. Still in for pics.
Tell me the angles you want and I'll take the pictures.

He's referring to the Jackson Racing CARB tune that comes with the "Factory Tuned" version of the kit.

it sounds like you guys were taking it fairly easy in the accleration run. I timed it and it came out to just over 7 seconds dead 0-60.

I'm curious to see how much different it would be with a good lauch and faster shifts. 1st and 2nd gear didnt seem too much different from stock in that video. 3rd and 4th though you can tell.

Interested in belt routing & access, ease of inspection, adjustment & replacement.

Separate question for you: are you going to be running an accessory AOS/catch can?
