Nope. Evos come with decent tires. These ones will flex and roll on the side, If you want better grip - pump'em.

Right. And you know that how? The FR-S tires are not your run-of-the-mill low rolling resistance mushballs, they do have some performance characteristics. Empirical data required to back this claim up.

Autox-ing buddy's Prius when his regular car won't start, lol.

Look, there is a point when pumping further reduces tire grip, but it's not anywhere near stock psi levels.

Lol, do your research dude. They might not be as crappy as regular Prius, but they are nowhere near what people run on most Evos.

That was actually my least favourite comment. I don't want to have to wear ear plugs to drive it. :P

my cousin runs a few more psi in the rear in his Evo9, says he got that trick from his evo buddies that he rolls with. Apparently it feels better with a bit more air in the rear.

Autox 101: chalk your tires and keep pumping until you're not rolling on the side. If you increase PSI after that - you'll get less grip from tire. If you're still rolling on the sides pumping more air will increase grip. But believe what you want to.

Right, which is why you add more to the rear to get it to rotate. This isn't complicated.

Pressures required for most street tires to stop rolling over in autox aren't too safe to run daily. So in DD you'll be below the point where adding psi reduces grip. Hence you add psi in the front.

Ummm am I misreading something. Space for a turbo and intercooler in the next few years? Do they mean aftermarket support or factory?

Never claimed they were so don't put words in my mouth thanks. And your bud's Prius tires are quite a bit different from those on the FR-S - do your own research. Not to mention that the suspension geometry on an FR-S would be quite a bit different than a Prius as well.
