Hahaha I was in an Sti and would tell people my car is broken for shits and giggles, but in all honesty harsh clutches might be a pita for most people. I personally have back issues and sometimes I won't be able to keep the clutch engaged.

If you are staying on pump with a stock block the excedy IS the best choice imho( quality wise and drivability I assume )

I got the ACT clutch with the full round disc. I'm ready for a bit of noise. It's going in later this week hopefully, along with everything else.

Hey @King Tut....any pictures of what your setup looks like looking down into the fans and the wiring? Wanted to see your install image.

On my way to work this morning, steam started pillowing out of the engine bay. Popped the hood and found coolant EVERYWHERE. One of the coolant hoses to the turbo had completely melted from the heat of the fitting and had started to spray.

Engine temps were still fine, so I topped off the coolant and got it home. Checked the second coolant hose and it completely snapped in my hand in the process. These hoses are definitely not up to the task.

What the inside of the fitting looked like after:

I noticed it was PCV hose, which seemed pretty strange... Stopped by a local shop that specializes in fittings to pick up some new ones and better hose, and they indicated that these definitely were not the right fittings for the hose that was used, however, I am not an expert.

Have a shop hard lining the coolant hoses now...

Lots of extra effort going into this kit on your part.

Unless they've started shipping different hoses, they WILL fail. I have about 10k miles on my turbo. Also, yes, the heat wrap was on the hose.

It is not the fitting, earlier kits uses a gates hose and we have had two issues so far. We have swapped to a braided hose since. If anyone with our is worried about this issue please , pm me your details. We will ship you a new set free of charge.

All or our kits ships with the updated hose now.

Reasons like this are why this company is one of the best.

Taking care of your customers after the fact is not the norm these days without a fight.

I sold the car yesterday, so I can't take any photos of the wiring.

I am assuming mine is one of the earlier kits as my hoses weren't braided. My kit has over 15,000 miles on it with no issues thus far. I will let the new owner know to check them out and contact you.
