Sizing and MSRP is on the SSR website. Seems like if you want 17s the only wheel that got a decent fitment in 5x100 is V02 (17x8). V01 and V03 are only 17x7 on the website.

I am assuming nothing wider than a 9.5 without getting into body mods etc?

Thx
Sounds right to me, although at that width you have to be pretty spot on with offset to make sure you're rubbing neither strut nor fender. Best to err to an offset too high because if you're rubbing on the strut you can always get baby spacers to push it out. If you're rubbing on the fender the only solution is getting the fender out the way. You're also limited on the tire width you can fit on a 9.5. I think it requires a bit of a stretch without any other modifications. There's a shitload of "does it fit" threads in the wheels technical subforum.
If you want a set of these SSR's, though, they only go up to 8.5 unless you're doing a hub/spacer conversion. But if we all stick with the stock 5x100 when we buy rims the market will continue to grow and more manufacturers will release applications for the twins.

You might already know this but a staggered setup makes the car understeer and a wider wheel is heavier and robs power, especially on the driven wheels which are the ones you'd be putting the wider wheels on if you're going staggered. If you're going FI and have extra power, not such a big deal but at 150 lb/ft of torque there's not alot there to sacrifice for style. I did read that auto-x guys are running 9.5s at stock power levels and doing fine so if traction is your #1 concern that would be fine but then you'd want the widest contact patch you can get in front as well.

I like the GT V02, but need to know the weight before thinking about ordering a set.

I wouldn't mind any of them to be honest. More info please!

Edit: some size and price info are on SSR's website. MSRP for 18 x 9.5 40 o/s is $420

Chee... The 18x9.5" are 5x114 pattern no good for us, and if you run a conversion plate there will be horrible poke at the given 40 offset of those.

If the GT V01's come in under the weight of the stock wheels it looks like I'll probably be buying a set. I've wanted 17.0x7 since I just DD the car and don't really need or want any more grip (not enough to justify the drop in mpg or rise in price of tires). I wish we could get the 42mm offset though.

If I can find the "street price" of $230 per wheel as mentioned on the first page I'm sold.

I meant to type 5x100 o/s 40. The size is available for the V02. Oopsie!

Guessing based on Ravspecs comment in another thread they will be in 350-400 per wheel price range.
