Waiting for results on this. No offense.

Oh just noticed you are in WI you have any autox left up there? I'd like to meet up and see the difference.
Absolutely... KW Variant 3's and some LW mods...and a Performance alignment make this thing Rock..no power mods yet except a Exhaust turndown and K&N Filter in the stock box... 3 Index wins... 1/2 or 1/3 in class and in a 2 day Divisional 2/5th...the alignment made all the difference... oh with some help of some very talented drivers..along the way..and yes...faster than a Stock Car... not sure with one on Rcomps...but I am building mine specifically for ST*..The next Fasttrack should have it classed...

on events: one in Milwaukee this weekend.....and No offense taken..

I'm going to be keeping my stock wheels for winter tires so I want my summer and winter wheels to have TPMS. Where can I buy TPMS sensors and what should I expect to pay?

1- that is the stock suspension on this pic right ?!?,

2- Assuming it is, you state that there is about 1/4 inch gap left to clear before the tire rubs. That means about 6.3 mm, and your are running a 17x9+42 wheel.
Then if you had instead a 17x9+50 like in the following thread suggest is perfect flush up front :

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7535

You would be missing at least 1.7mm+ just to be able to make the wheel fit, what do you think ?

p.s: im talking about the front wheel of course!

Thanks

Chris

Hi there,
Yes stock suspension in this pic.. don't know if I would go to a 50... going to crowd a already crowed space between the strut and the tire/wheel.. 42 is just about perfect.. I am running coilovers now.. so there is no clearance issue .. I have 2 sets of wheels both of them are 42 offset.. and now I am running a BBK also.. which the 42 clears perfectly.

Thanks for your reply !

Say, now that you are running a coil-over setup, have you dropped the car at all ? has the poke changed ( if you lower the car the wheel will go more towards the inside if im not mistaken)?

and are you running the same offset in the back? if so, it must be slightly more flush in the back ?

p.s: how are you liking those stoptech ?

Thanks

I had Rotas DPT and I bent 3 of them out of nowhere.
I wasn't a fan of them because of that. The lip seems to be not so strong.
just a heads-up

on those pictures it does look just perfect ! sounds like +42 is a pretty good size for your application. it even looks like +50 might have been to far inside.

Thanks for the info, your car looks great !!
