You've got to be kidding. I've lived in SoCal for more than 35 years and have never had a problem merging onto any onramp here at well over the, let's just say 'recommended speed' and that's in everything from a 1.6L corolla to a Gen 1 Prius to a V12. I hope you are joking saying you need an S2000 to merger onto a freeway here and that the FRS/BRZ can't do it properly.

I agree, the FRS will hold up better over time.

Wow. The S2000 is a better looking classic than the NSX? We'll agree to disagree.

Personally never was a fan of the S2000's looks at all. Especially w/ the hardtop which just looks completely wrong. Looks like Honda ripped the hardtop off an MR-S and dropped it on the S2000. Lines don't work w/ the S2000 to my eye. I'll take the sexy front fender arches on the 86 over a lot of cars including Porsche.

Merging onto the 110 is scary =X

People slow down for cars perceived to be slow, but the FRS is not one of them.

Oh you're around Pasadena where they got those ridiculously short runways? Lol, well you certainly won the dumbest onramp lottery. That probably is the worst design in any of the 50 states or 50 countries I've been to. You have my sympathies.

Have you tried nitrous? Lol. Were you not running an Innovate at one time?

The European Union has cursed all modern cars with their ridiculous pedestrian crash standards, which is why the BRZ's hood and hood's leading edge is higher than the S2000's despite a significantly lower engine.

Additionally, auto insurance for the BRZ/FRS is NOT cheaper than the S2000. Depending on if you have an FRS or BRZ, or what model year S2000 it's really a toss up. When I sold my S2000 and got a BRZ my insurance went up.
Yeah Insurance for my S2K was much cheaper than the BRZ. By about 30-40%.

Yeah, I did do it a couple times in my old beater rolla many moons ago. I think it's the equivalent of two cups of coffee. I'd probably get a GTR or 911 Turbo S lol.

But your also comparing a car that is older and is worth less. In 8 years or so the insurance on you BRZ should be considerably cheaper than a new RWD sports coupe that costs considerably more.

Brand new? You need to find another insurance company.. My insurance went down when I bought my BRZ (I had a Genesis Coupe). I am paying about $50 more a year for my BRZ than I was for a 2006 Mazda 3.
