It on cars in certain countries that got a full spare. South Africa is one of them. Cant remember other off the top of my head. Try Nigel JDM parts. He can usually get the hard to find stuff like this

We got a full sized spare but no cover. I think that cover could be found in Australia if I'm not mistaken.

I still don't get how they thought that it would be okay to leave it like that.

I just got a quote from the eBay seller. Item is AU$135. Shipping to Singapore AU$215. That's like AU$350. Omg.... Is there any other place that sell this but can offer a cheaper shipping method ?

People sure are cheap. Can afford the car but cant afford just a few hundred dollars more for parts.

^^ most people probably financed the car...meaning depending on down payment his car payment can be anywhere from $200-$500 per month. Thats a big margin for free cash flow. Variables that are unknown hence forth your comment about being cheap holds no value.

And a few hundred for parts is one thing...a few hundred for a trunk mat is another.

Well said FRS Shadow.

Paying $100 for a trunk mat is one thing, but to fork out almost double the amount just for shipping may not make sense to some.

I am sure he can afford it....but just doesn't want or need it bad enuff to cough out $230 for shipping.

As a point of comparison, the current Subaru trunk liner (same construction but flat) is around $60 and is available from your local dealer.

$60 for this, or $250+ for a cover that only works with a full-sized spare? Some people just own the wheels on the car, nothing more.
