As much as I would love to list pricing and start pre-ordering these to you, it is going to be a few more days before my guys get me pricing. The good news is, with pricing taking a little longer before pre-orders...that will mean shorter on the "pre-" and quicker on the "order". Bear with us...it'll be worth it!
Ahhhh ok ok. Eyes still peeled! Can't wait !

Pardon my ignorance, but does the base Vortech system not have any sort of bypass valve? Would it not be more beneficial to bypass the air rather than dump it into atmo? Everything I've learned thus far has told me that blow-off valve = you're a stupid ricer/AFM or MAF doesn't account for loss of air and runs rich on throttle lift (and if you have a laggy turbo, say goodbye to all that pressure, have fun waiting to build it again). Then again this is a supercharger and not a turbo so... *shrug*

The system does include a valve, it is just smaller and quieter, with less capacity. The reason this upgrade was designed was for the guys that wanted a higher capacity valve, or just a louder valve, and didn't want to hassle with trying to weld to a powdercoated tube, or didn't like the look of a tube with part of the powdercoating removed (which is what you would have to do to weld a flange onto it. This upgrade has the tube with the flange already on it, powdercoated black to match the rest of the kit, and ready to swap directly in place of your existing tube & valve.

Our MAF is located in the charge pipe after the bypass valve, so the MAF only sees the true amount of air flowing into the manifold. No running rich/flames due to venting to the atmosphere with the current kit design.

The supercharger flows more air at idle than the engine can handle, so the BPV is also pretty much open at idle venting excess air. If the MAF was located before the supercharger, then venting air from the charge pipe would result in a rich condition due to the MAF seeing a lot of air but the charge pipe dumping it.

Completely safe/sane
