^ Yeah definitely this...noticed that FA20club never said they can't sell it to you....they simply said can't mail to your Australian address. Best that you ring them up directly instead of email.

Easiest, but definitely the least cost effective way is to go to MRT and buy a cable/licence from them.
Not sure who else apart from them sells EcuTek products. edit: Actually, given the way that our economy and how our dollar compares to the greenback, I wouldn't be surprised if buying from fa20/drift-office/visconti would be the same price as supposed to going to MRT. |

Cable, license and tune from FA20Club is USD850. Even if you account for express shipping (through a forwarding agent) it is still just around AUD1k. Now i'm not 100% sure how much MRT charges but I'll bet it's about $1300 to $1600....maybe more??

I was guessing at $1000 but I do not know of anyone on this forum who has received a tune from them.

Lots of guesses and if I'm not mistaken; has anyone actually either rung or emailed MRT and asked them?
Lot of dough to be throwing around without checking facts. I have a My-Us account (same as hopshopgo etc) and quite often buy stuff from the states that way. I've also dealt with Brett before and have nothing but good things to say about MRT. Are they more expensive? Yep. Are they worth it? That's every individual's call. My advice if anyone is _seriously_ considering a tune - do your actual research on price etc. rather than just asking everyone on a forum to make a value judgement for you. I've heard good things about FA20 club, I've dealt with MRT - but I'm not considering buying a tune. I'll wait till I get my blower done. |

I strongly recommend against going through the etuning method with fa20club or Visconti. I had a bad experience sending multiple logs over about a month for fa20club to give up on my car without making any power over stock and then not refunding me. Visconti is terrible at responding in a timely manner and has fallen out of grace here badly. Neither have much history in the car/tuning scene and are basically start ups for this platform. Nothing beats tuning fom scratch on a dyno environment by an experienced tuner!
MRT have a bad rep but they are far from the only ecutek tuning option in AU. Do some research on your local ecutek shops and their reputations in the industry. If all else fails, truck or road trip your car to me and I'll get S&J/Morpowa to tune it! http://ecutek.com.au/who-to-contact
