SRS light on

Just took my car to a 100% hand wash place. They did the whole 9 yard and the only thing different was that I asked them to clean up a spill of some sort on the passenger side seat. So they did a wet vacuum to get it out. Drove off and now the SRS warning light is on. Could the sensor be that sensitive? I mean we all have problems with leaving our phone charging on the seat and making the seatbelt indicator beep. Is it possible to manually reset or is this a dealer fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Disconnect your negative battery terminal for 3 minutes, connect it and see if the MIL/SRS light goes away

They are that sensitive, at least mine is. If I set a 1 liter bottled water on the seat it will trip the sensor and beep like crazy at me.

Or disconnect and step on the brakes for 3-5 seconds to get a full drain. Should reset it and then just wait n see if it returns

apparently these sensors don't like water. if it does not turn off after the rest, blow dry your set and that may work.

Wouldnt this be a warranty claim issue? The dealer will have all the necessary resources too figure out whats going on.
