I don't hate Scion, I love my FR-S. I just happen to have worked with other engineers who now work for Toyota. You seem to think these cars are perfect, no car is perfect.
I know you like going to Scion events and getting smooched by marketing reps into thinking all is rosy, but the first step to continuous improvement is acknowledging an issue. That's all customers who drive their car in the power band have asked for. Just because you drive your car "polite" as the spot on translation above describes does not mean everyone has to resort to accepting that sort of performance.
