Hey, it was great meeting ya'll yesterday. Is that usually how the meets go? If so, the next time we meet "for lunch" I'll have to remember to eat before I go.

A couple of you asked about the push button start, so here are links to the kit and the DIY thread.

If anyone wants to go for it I'll be happy to help with the install.

We usually spend some time pre and post meal to chat about stuff and show off our cars

We spoke about doing HPDE as well. Here is the link to Cayuga's Advanced Driver Training http://www.torontomotorsportspark.com/raceway/adt.html I'm not sure that this is exactly what we were looking for, but I'm gunna keep looking. Updates to follow.

Thanks @Harbinger of Darkness @mountainside @Rutter for your help with the new lights.

So $192.10 after tax, for basic. Or $276.85 after tax, to have an in-car instructor as well.

I would definitely go for the in-car instructor. There's only so much you can get from a classroom, and feedback given after the lapping session by instructors that are watching a whole group of cars.

The only real down side is that it's always on Mondays. But, if we all can agree on a date, I'm in! I just need a little bit of time to arrange the day off.

September? October?

As this would be my first time on a real track, I think I would prefer the in car as well.

I'm down for anytime as long as I have a week or 2 notice so I can get a day off. :-)

Also, where can one buy a helmet in KW for a reasonable price? Ill need to pick one up.

Royal Distributing in Guelph is your best bet, and there's a sale on presently. Just make sure you get the SNELL approved kind.

Yup, big selection. Mine was about $115, but I think they're less now.

Aug. 12, Monday, around 12:30pm, a silver brz or frs turned from King to Uninversity. It has aftermarket HIDs, skirt kit with blue trims, and likely different exhaust from the sound. Made me want to have mine soon...

Hey, the car I had before our first fr-s was pretty much the same as your current car, except mine was a 2002. I still think that car was the world's best winter beater.

Good luck with getting your fr-s or brz soon!
