Help from the ATL guys?
Hello everyone, my name is Nick and I got my hot lava fr-s two weeks ago. I'm trying to decide on exhaust and wanted to hear some in person if possible. Would anyone in the metro Atlanta area want to meet up for a cruise/possible shoot, and to check out some exhaust systems? I'm in the lawrenceville/suwanee area, but would be cool with meeting up wherever works.

I'm down. I'm installing my HKS Legamax this evening (pending no rain).
Also, you just missed it since it was yesterday, but there are bi-weekly meets in/near ATL. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=27520&page=5 Just for reference... here's what I seem to have arrived at in terms of loudness. **Tamer TRD Tanabe Greddy SP Elite HKS? Perrin - Resonated Nameless - with mufflers Invidia Q300 Invidia N1? Borla Greddy Evo3 (not as loud if you use the inserts) **Not so Tame Last edited by chuchutrain; 08-08-2013 at 09:47 AM. |

I saw the thread about biweekly meets that had all of the dates listed. Where are the Tuesday meets? I would love to come out to one. As far as exhaust, I'm definitely looking for something on the louder end, just not as loud as my strait piped 328i was. It's just very difficult to get a good feel for sound from YouTube.

Definitely leaning towards the greddy. Has anyone heard the borla cat back in person?
Also, just looked up the invidia n1. It sounds fantastic, especially for the price. |

I forgot about that. A few dealers install them stock. Just as loud as the Greddy I'd say.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm definitely looking into the invidia n1. I think the greddy is on back order and the n1 seems to sound just as good.

check TopSpeed Motorsports, they're local and will try to earn your business. they should come close to anything you can find on these forums.
Shoot Mike an email: mike AT topspeedtuned DOT com Let'em know Alex sent you, I just got the Legamax from him. or... Greddy evo3 in classifieds http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43279 |

I just bought some Whiteline goodies for our Legacy from Mike at Topspeed. He's great to deal with and their prices matched the cheapest I could find online. I'd recommend them as well.
