This is what is concerning me. It seems us international buyers are not getting anything close to the type of gains you guys are.
Even sending in data logs from a run on a dyno, max I have achieved from Stg2 tune is 5whp
I'm going to run v1.14b4 today with octane booster to get the fuel up to 93 equivalent to verify if its possible our fuel that's the problem.

So went down to local dyno shop (Inertia Dyno), ran the Stage 2 v1.14b4 and added +3 Octane Booster to our 95RON fuel to get it up to 98RON, which is equivalent to US 93PON (Quality may still be a issue for us is SA)
132wkw = 177whp and 202NM Torque.
The below chart indicates first tune run on 95RON against the latest v1.14 on 98RON.

FWIW, I've read that those octane boosters don't work nearly as well as they claim.

Obviously dependent on what Octane Booster you are using I would agree with you. However we are seeing guys using NF Ultra octane booster and getting up to 13whp gains.
Maybe our fuel is so crap anything works

Quite possibly. From talking to a bunch of muscle car guys it seems the only one they trust is from Lucas Oil, but even then they say you may only get half a point or so.

I would have been interested in seeing you dyno the old rom with your 95 + octane booster vs 1.14b4 on 95 + octane booster. That way you can see if the gains were due to the octane booster or the tune.

We have crappy gas in my area in the states as well. You aren't the only one. v1.14 is not far off from how my stock map feels. Stock it feels it has much more top end/shifting into 2nd than v1.14. Using 93.

Hey John, any word on the lead time for retunes? I submitted dynos/data logs last week and am concerned about my logs. Power was way way less than expected

@Rich@ViscontiTuning,
Results on previous page dyno chart using +3 Octane Booster. I have mailed you all my charts and gains thus far based on each mod and the tune. I have also sent John a ticket with the dyno run data logs to review.
Based on like for like scenario with the same mods and stg2 tune with 93 PON fuel, you guys are getting at least 10whp more than what I'm current achieving.
Let see what John finds from the logs.

If you are talking about v1.14 then I'm in the same boat. Don't get me wrong I love what John has done to my car but on v1.14 i've recently been getting clear misfires at high rpms under WOT in 1st gear. Me and a buddy both hear it clear as day. Not a single misfire on the stock map and my MPG its slightly higher than v1.14 just commuting to and fro work.

Honestly the latest tune runs like complete Crap compared to stock on my car. No joke my stock map feels like a turbo kicks in at 4.5krpms to redline ( yes im aware that there's the stock torque dip ). v1.14 doesn't put me back into my seat as near as much as stock anywhere in the band except for a small mid range portion.

I've lost the responsiveness that I used to have on previous tunes as well which is why I think the stock map feels "better" to me. Yes I miss the NVH especially with my Perrin CAI it sounds badass on v1.14 but is not running right. And the datalogs ive been able to get are short because there is a short in my cable and I have to pull the wire towards me for it to stay connected.

Again, John I appreciate everything you do and love your work you've done on all my buddies R35's. Just not feeling v1.14 too well.
