I didn't think you can blame the dealership if you didn't let them know ahead of time. Its part of their PDI checklist so they aren't going to call or ask for permission to install it.
The first request I made with my car was to leave it untouched from the truck. I will fill the gas and detail the vehicle myself. I worked at the same dealership in the past and I have seen the kids that fill gas and stall cars day in day out. |

What's the big deal about the front plate? It's like a 50$ grill.
Tell the dealer to replace it. Ishii |

It is because it is the whole bumper cover as well as the grill. They have to drill the mount into the top portion of the bumper cover for support. It doesn't bother me, as I hate off set plates and am required to have a plate in VA. At least I was given the option though. I can totally understand why you guys are not happy if it is not required in your state.

I was getting my oil changed last night and spotted #0131 at Toyota of Bedford (In Bedford, OH, naturally). Also, it is an AT.
Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures, sorry! But that paint looks amazing in person! |

They do have it there. We went to buy it but it had the front license plate holder screwed in and had like 48 miles on it. So I called the scion sales rep that sold me my whiteout and he had a manual on hold for himself. My cossin got lucky b/c the sales rep gave his up to him. Number 445. |

Posted this in the series 10 forum but figured I would post here to so as many owners as possible might see it.
I found something today that all of you should check. I found a set of rubber plugs in my glovebox. It turns out that these are plugs that should be installed under the car in holes located in the subframe near the rear wheels. This is supposed to be done during PDI but it is often missed. If not installed moisture can get in the sub frame and rust it. I discovered a thread that discusses this and other rubber plugs the dealer should order to install in the trunk to block the rear strut access holes. Here is the link with the specifics and part numbers. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=11523&page=7 And this one for the subframe plugs. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14993 |
