Lol, fair point! Because otherwise I would not have fenders anymore, haha. The fronts are chewing at the fender liners with the 225s due to the ride height. It's something I wanted to try as all of my other wheel/tire setups have been more meaty (see the M3 above). Nevertheless, I'm pretty happy with it and given the power of the car, it doesn't really need anything wider for street driving IMO. For what its worth, I plan to run a 245 on a 17x9 when I finally have some free time to take the thing to a track.

No fender mods! I'm quite rapidly eating through my fender liners and they are naturally taking their own shape to accommodate. I'm sure that if I went down to a 215 in front, I'd rid myself of all the rubbing, but I think I'll wait until next season. Rears still have a bunch of room, so I may widen those wheels when it's time to take them off.
