Finally took the scratch protector cover off the analyzer screen. Looks much better.

Didnt like how ugly the display was so made it more subtle

Had a fuel leak last night after a few WOT runs. I had already tightened the worm drive hose clamp with a flathead screwdriver until it couldnt move, so I (over)tightened it even further with a ratchet and made the screw go into the worm drive. No leaks now but the clamp doesnt look safe. Probably going to go out over the weekend and buy a T clamp to replace it.
There's one reason that I can see for why peeps are getting leaks even though the clamp was fastened all the way - the hose that came with the kit has a much thinner side wall (not counting the outer sheath) with a larger inner diameter. See pic attached. This makes it harder for the new hose to get a good seal against the metal pipe. @Visconti, @Rich@ViscontiTuning, this could be an improvement for future revisions of the kit. |

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. I pop my hood and look at that fuel line before I even pull out of my garage anymore. I haven't seen any leaks in the past few days, but fuel leaks are no joke, so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm an insurance agent, so I know that insurance would cover damages if something went wrong, but I also know that the insurance company would go after Subaru first, so they would likely find the modification and then put the fault on the owner. It's one thing to remove mods when you go to the dealer, but if your car is a pile of ashes, there's nothing you can do.

I went for a drive just then and smelt more fuel than normal. Both clamps were dripping fuel like 2 drips per sec. So u guus reckon the hoses are fine but the clamps are causing the issues? Or should I replace the hose aswell?

Every once and a while I get a whiff of e85 and I keep pulling over and checking but see no leaks. I wish there was a leak so it could stop messing with my head.

When I buy this, I will install the display in my glove compartment. Since this instrument is critical for flex fuel opps, I will also pull power and ground from the same source the ECU gets power and ground. Then if a short occurs, it also depowers the ECU causing engine shut down instead of "boom."
