Its not written anywhere, but I'd assume that you could (granted you're bringing your own helmet to mount the cam onto). I do know some places rent out gopros for a fee (GKR) but even they allowed me to have my camera.

Yes, please bring $12.50 cash to pay me back (I've covered the deposit to reserve the whole track for our group). You will then be paying the difference at the counter.

Just spoke to Steven from LPI Racing (ordered Motul from them) and mentioned we are racing on Tuesday. If you're planning to get to Umigo early or want to check out a shop that sells race paraphernalia, give LPI a call and see if they are still open. Check out their inventory of helmets and racecar stuff. LPI is two exits before Umigo.

Just a quick bump to remind everyone to please bring $12.50 cash to pay me back (I've covered the deposit to reserve the whole track for our group). You will then be paying the difference at the counter.

+1 for LPI, got my helmet from them. I've never liked buying stuff like clothes or shoes on-line specifically because I can't try them on and check out the fit and would have the added hassle to send stuff back if it didn't fit right. It was nice being able to go to their store and try out a few helmets and be able to decide. Funny enough, I did end up getting the helmet I almost bought on-line, but at least I was sure it fit my huge noggin

I know I mentioned earlier about meeting up for dinner before karting, but never followed up. Anyone still want to do this? I'll be there at around 6:30 and be hungry, so we should meet up. Though I'm not familiar with the area, so if someone could suggest a place to meet that would be great.

I might be able to join ya, although I'm not too familiar with the area either. I do recall stopping at a taqueria close by the freeway that had pretty decent tacos

I'll be available to join you... right around there it doesn't look like there's much. I know there's an In-n-Out and Jack in the Box a few exits earlier at N Livermore Ave. Better choices I think along 580 before Livermore, at Dublin/Pleasanton. One possibility is meet up at Snowflake/Quickly's and there are also a bunch of asian places around there to try. I might be swinging by the Livermore Subie dealer a bit before dinner to have them take a look at my leaking triangular plate.

So Livermore Costco has 2 $25 gift cards for $38. We still need to pay BFF his deposit, so in the end you spend the same amount but would have value left on a gift card. Or since its two gift cards people could split them too I guess.

I might be late. We'll see. Fiance is driving back from Sacramento that day, so if she's not back in time I'm going to have to be late so she can take over watching the kid for me. If I am late, one of @xdudefromheaven's pals can have my spot, and I'll come to just chill and talk. I'll text you Brian and let you know, and I'll bring cash to help cover the costs either way since I don't want stuff like this to stop happening. These night are awesome.

excellent point denki, those of you who committed to coming, but for whatever reason have to cancel... we're bummed you can't join us but please please please pay @BigFatFlip back for your share of the deposit ($12.50) ... it's not fair to have him take the burden of that for your no-show as he has already been charged for it to make the reservation. If we end up having "standby" people who can take the slot then its great and you will get your deposit back, but if not and he takes a hit for it, well that is just not a nice thing to do.

We could meet at that Starbucks on N Livermore Ave that we met at for the Livermore BBQ recon (2050 Portola Ave). Theres a few places around there to eat and we could figure it out from there. I'll be there around 6:30 hopefully.
