Aren't we talking about more than just a "limited" trim though? You're saying this FR-S 10 Series Limited Edition # of 2500 is the same as BRZ with the Limited trim.

IDK if 2500 total FR-S's is many or few. I guess a different way to ask my question is, will these 10 Series Limited Editions venture into the price realm of a "collectible" car?

Nope. It will likely be like any other RS series scion has done and net you about 500-1,000 more then other FRS up for sale. if your lucky that is.

Hmm. Because I could see myself suddenly get frugal and pick up someone's used FR-S and save maybe $8k - $10k now.

Yeah, that is basically what I'm saying, to be honest. At the end of the day it's still a sports car from Scion even though it's a limited production model. I'm not sure how far out of production a car has to be to become a collectible. It just has to be desired in the future and we only assume these cars will still be wanted 10 years from now, but maybe they won't. There's a reason affordable, RWD coupes disappeared from the market years ago and that reason could resurface.

The only problem I would have with owning a series 10 limited..
Would be treating it like a limited edition.. My OCD would kick in
And keep me from driving it too hard.. I want to play and not worry
About it being "limited". I'm too old to keep it long enough anyways.. Lol..
I want to beat on it and not give a care..
I like what they did .. Nice package..

OMG! Is it really it?? My dealer sent me these photos. I wish I could just go over there right now but I already have commitments until 8 tonight and I gotta go clean up my trade in! He said it's badge # 0039.
I really didn't think it would be in so soon, considering all the delays.

boom! looks like a regular argento in the shade... but look at the rear left corner...blue shimmer. Awesome. @UNICRN be ready with your cam with some pics and video. I need some of my thirst quenched.

And to the guys above talking about limited editions: I always treat my cars with TLC, that doesnt mean I dont have fun with them. This babe is getting turbocharged no questions asked, not immediately though. TLC is the key to resale and your overall happiness with the car as well. Thats the only reason I could sell my RSX at 15k! Thats more than half its cost and it was over 8 years old
