Hello... Ummm.. My name's chanomatik, and I, too, am an OEM+ addict. Almost my entire interior is from the JDM GT-86. My Grimmspeed hoodstruts look completely OEM. I even left off the logo. I can't settle on aftermarket wheels unless they look OEM. It's so bad that I'm waiting to get the STI-replica wheels. I'm so ashamed!

Could the STi body parts also be painted to match?
Since i got a black brz i'd dislike two shades of black.
Also, can you estimate how much ground clearance is lost with only the body parts?

Of course you could paint the sti pieces. You lose minimal with the skirts and rear, the front maybe 2-3 inches

Just checking, i got the rubber gurney and that one can unfortunately not be painted.
so the front lip isn't level w/ the skirts? Or is that because of the additional secondary rubber lip for the front?

I'll let @switchlanez or @Beyer Subaru answer because my lip and skirts aren't mounted yet.

I'm currently not in town and away from my car to be able to confirm but I *believe* the front lip is about level with the side skirts (maybe even lower to achieve a raked look). The rubber skirt flap brings it down even lower. This shot sort of shows that.

It's level without the skirt lip attached and lower with it

Seems about right. I gotta pay heed so mine doesn't get too low atm.
Good thing it can be painted. If i can figure out a way to get the kit past inspection every effin time it will most likely go on my car, too. However, mine will be painted as i don't care for a raked look.
Is there any kind of serial number printwd on all the body parts? The authoritiea are pretty anal about this stuff over here

No, just an STI Sticker.
