LED H11 Headlights in 3 Temps for $42

Maybe I missed it in my search but didn't find anyone with these. They may be new to the market? Dunno but wow these are fantastic. I got these H11's from amazon here [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Y1UXZFW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailp age_o00_s00"]Amazon.com: Partsam 2pcs H8/H11/H16 2-Cree-XML2 8000K White 2000LM LED Headlight: Automotive[/ame]

I bought similar LED's with internal driver and rated for water intrusion and that's what these have also. So after searching I found these and they come with 3 colors not 2 as it says in the ad. 6500k, 8000k, and 3300k yellow/amber

The colors are created by exchangeable glass covers (yes real glass). the naked LED is 6500k and the 8000k is produced by the blue cover and yellow/amber with that cover. The tip of the housing unscrews and you can then change to your desired color. I wish I could use the Yellow because it is stunning to see! But I chose the 6500k to match the front LED switchback signal bulbs plus the yellow is not legal in NJ.

Anyway I did a comparison and took some pics. Now the Lumens of a Halogen H11 is 1800+lm these LEDS are 2000lm and its just fine not too bright for oncoming drivers since my truck has the same lumen and temp bulb I knew it would be fine. Time will tell on their reliability but for $42 it was worth a shot to try.

Any questions just ask!

Pic 5,6 - clearance from base of bulb to wheel well

Pic 7 - colors of 3300k and 8000k

Surprisingly from the photos the cutoff doesn't look that bad and I don't see any glare like the majority of LED bulbs

Yeh it looks nicer in person, could be some distortion from the camera lens

I'll honestly stick with my HIDs in my WinJets, LED performance still isn't good enough via the aftermarket to compare to the HID kit. Also HID kits are almost a full 1000 lumens brighter

Yeh I didn't want to go brighter than stock lumens but had no choice. 2000lm is close enough. though I probably wouldn't have an issue legally with brighter, so I'm just playing it safe.

Looks pretty good.
Been thinking of getting some of these for my fogs basically for the color.
Not sure if I would put them in my headlights though.

Looks good. Your head lights look pointed a little too high. And take pictures/videos in front of a garage door to get better indication of color and beam pattern.
3 colors were provided.
Yellow= 3k (not 4300k as you mentioned)
No cover= 4300k
Cover=6k
I think that is correct.

Just because it says it in the box does not mean it is right. It is probably made in China and they rarely get sun under that thick layer of pollution so their white balance is off.

Just look at it the pic. The light is very yellow. 3k is yellow. 4300k is warm white.

6500k might be semi-accurate though.

Probably supposed to be 3300k, put in a 4 instead of a 3, but it looks great whatever it is. But what LEDs are not made in China. lol

Look good to me! Are they significantly better for visability / I assume these are plug-n-play?
