You really should try and test out the seats you're interested in. They aren't the same as power mods.

Unless you're looking to get rid of ever little bit of weight (or a racing seat is required for the type of racing you're into) the factory seats are 99% of a full on racing seat...

Brz seats is great and got airbag in there. I have not seen any aftermarket seat give such balance of support and comfort.

Best racing seats as lightest? toughest? nice looking? FIA approved? This is very vague question... Racing seats for... track? rally? autox? drift? Cuz most of em have different needs/wants and requirements.

Good example. My local track require OEM or FIA approved seats only... while local drift require a seat lol

If you want general answer, get bucket seat with FIA approved. They're 'usually' light and will be approved for most of the race events/track.

I had Corbeau in my Mustang. Super light weight but not much padding and bolsters wear down quickly. Not too great in a daily driver.

For some one to say "the best racing seats" they will never see any racing besides the freeway.
Go buy what ever looks cool and shiny. Park hard bro.

Sparco/Recaro are my personal preferences. Currently use the Sparo Pro.ADV in my project, but it's obviously a bit extreme for most, but I need it for the track:
