As it is a no-contact event, it seems that both are at fault. The primary party seems to be the 430 driver, as he moves clearly over to block off the 458's ability to pass.

While normally I'd give the benefit of the doubt to both drivers, in this case the black 430 driver clearly did not even attempt to run the race line (track right) and simply closed the passing door on the 458.

Glad the catch fence worked as intended though!!

Another angle of the fence. From here, you can see the catch fence working as intended, otherwise at that speed the car would've ended up where the camera person was.
