Blinker Module Wire

I installed switchbacks on my 2015 FRS and ive been trying for the past hour to remove the blinker wire but for some reason the damn thing doesnt want to come out. Im pressing the tab on the top side of it and trying to pull but nothing budges. Im to the point my fingers are killing me. The guy in the diode dynamics video makes it look easy..what the heck am i doing wrong? Is there a picture or diagram i can get on how to remove the wire? Im trying to install the new blinker module to prevent hyperflash on the turn signals

Bend the side clips so they can't engage. Pinch the pin on top side with one finger and use a thumbnail and work it out side to side

Did you take off the module from the clip? I had the hardest time taking it off the clip, but the actual wire connector was easy to get off once you bend the side tabs a little. Rotate it and use your thumb to press the tab, then use your nails to grab on the edge of the connector and pull out. Or, you can use the rest of your hand to grab on the actual wire and pull out that way, but don't use too much force since you might risk de-pinning the connector. Make sure you're pressing the tab all the way in.
