How wide can I go with the stock rims I'm thinking about 245/45 or 235/45 will it fit without in issues.

A 225/45 is a safe bet I'd say. But you might be able to slap a 235/40 (note, not a 235/45 because that's too tall) but it might be a bit balloony, especially if you get a tire that runs wide. Also, 235/40 is a rare, relatively expensive size, and depending on if you want a specific tire or not, you probably won't find it. Get a 225/45.

Why put a wider tire on if at stock power? Also why use stock rims if you have more power?

A 205/45/17 would be cheaper and save a few pounds too. Stock tires for me were bridgestones and 27k miles in they're toast. I like the stock rim look and plan to keep them but they are a bit heavy and the tire selection for them stock was a joke.

Add some front negative camber and stickier stock sized tires and you will probably be happier than going with wider tires all around.

But is it true changing the tire width will change the car speed like if your doing 60 actually your going 63 I saw this in a website about tire fitment

that happens when you change the tire height.

A 225/45 on the stock wheels will cause a 1.3% error. You will be doing 60.8 when speedo says 60.
