Posting here to inform this group of a HPDE at Blackhawk Farms June 21-22 with Chicagoland Audi Club. I'm already signed up. You do not have to own an Audi to become an associate member and run with that group. There is 1:1 instruction and a lot of track time at these events. It's a pretty laid back atmosphere and a fun group to run with.

I'm a former Audi B5 A4 owner and proud owner of a 2013 BRZ for a year now. Over the years many of the Audi club members have moved on to other makes for tracking and it'd be great to get more 86's out there.

I see they are giving an $100 discount to first timers. How does one become an associate member? Fill put the application on the website?

Yes, fill out the application and check that you wish to become a member. The associate member status basically just means you don't have an Audi VIN to your name and can't vote in national club board elections. You get to participate in hpde and auto-x and social gatherings. You'll receive the quarterly publication as well.

It works out to about $55 net savings with the $100 offset by club membership dues.

I have run this event several times. The Audi group is great fun with a very organized event. Wish I could make it this year, but it is well worth it. I hadn't been to Blackhawk in several years and went last year and was very pleased to see a lot of great facility improvements. I will especially miss the biscuits and gravy for breakfast from the track café. Oh and driving fast too!
