BRZ Limited, HID change headlight color.
Hello,
Does anyone know if you can change the color of the HID lights on the BRZ limited? If so, how so? |

sure you can. stock bulbs are 4300k. the higher number you go, the more blue the color looks and also decreased light output. prices are anywhere from $40-110 for the pair of bulbs.

OEM car HIDs are always 4300K, 35W. In the rare case it's not 4300K, it's 5000K (Osram CBI bulbs, Philips CM bulbs), 35W.
If you really want to make your light output worse, get higher Kelvin temperature bulbs (5000K, 6000K, etc) until you are satisfied with the color you want. You are looking for D4S bulbs. |

We don't have any "forum" discounts due to our already reduced prices. We've already included discounts right off the bat so nobody feels left out and you don't have to fool with coupon codes.
Shipping is just $5 flat rate too! Thanks, Nick C.

What??? A pair of HID bulbs is less than $25. It's the ballasts that cost so much.

Nope, that won't improve output. If you go yellow you're cutting out the higher spectrum, which also decreases output. 4300k is pretty close to white, which mixes 'em all. Same reason that the blue bulbs cut output, they decrease the lower spectrum.

Run yellow bulbs in your fogs, not your low-beams.
