Enlighten Me!
Ok, so I first began Import Tuning, back in '98. I learned what a front STB was and how much it made a difference on an FR car. My question is, "do I really need to upgrade the factory firewall braces or will simply adding my Tanabe or Cusco STB work? (installed on a daily driven, non track car)
Cusco offers 2 braces and a front STB as 3 $$ separate pieces, whereas Hotchkis offers a one piece "triange." I'm also curious as to how you all feel about rear STB's? What say you? Thanks in advance! |

Utilize stock angle bars and look into a grim speed stb. Decent price and works good. The differences from seat are not night and day but they're there yes.

For a daily driver, don't waste your money unless you like the look of it enough to justify the cost.

It's not the best first suspension modification. Swaybars or springs maybe?

I'd get the AEM strut bar. 200 for a rigid tri bar with a master cylinder brace. Bars with hinges, i.e. the Cusco bar are dead weight (as I have heard from vendors).
We need an expert to join in (I'm not one) |
