Clutch problem?
So I've been having this problem where my clutch makes this rattling noise when slowing down at about 20mph. It might not even be the clutch but it sounds like where the transmission is. Has anyone experienced this or had it fixed. It doesnt seem like its causing any problems but idk what it is and its annoying. Ill be bringing this up at the dealership when i get my first oil change. Just checking on here first

Your description is rather vague... Is it a constant rattle, or does it only rattle when you're lightly on/off the throttle? Is the clutch engaged or disengaged when you hear it? At what RPM, speed, and other conditions are present when it happens?
An OEM (or OEM style, sprung hub, full plate) clutch however, shouldn't make noise at all. If a clutch was going to make noise, it typically only does it when disengaged (pedal in), since this is when the throwout bearing is loaded, the plates are separated, and some movement may occur. It could be the "shifter rattle" many people have experienced. Do a search for it and see if the symptoms are familiar... |

That might be the same thing I'm hearing, I assumed it was normal. I usually can't hear it because of the music playing but when it's off I can hear it. I think it goes away when I fully depress the clutch, have to double check.

Do you only hear the noise when you put your foot down on the clutch or shortly after?

I asked the same question about the noisemaker ratcheting sound.
Turns out it's the Air Conditioner clutch disengaging at low speed. Only happens when the AC is on. Down in Texas, I can see this is a problem. Toyoburu clown car? Deal with it?

I get the rattle if I put it in neutral at 30mph and slow down to a stop, rattles around 20mph. It's not a big deal to me, rarely hear it.

I also just started noticing this. Sounds like clutch chatter. Always in neutral, when slowing down. Happens with AC off as well. 6k miles, bone stock.

I think I've heard this too, maybe 3-4 times this year.

If it goes away when you press in the clutch, then it's most likely the throw-out bearing. That noise has been determined to be normal in a few other threads.

My chatter only occurs for a short moment. Barely enough time to recognize the sound, and press in the clutch to see if it goes away. Will try to catch it though
