Nitrous Express Plate Kit
Fr-S/BRZ plate kit . Pics of what is included in the standard kit. Purge and Automatic heater I ordered is extras needed. Kit comes with a electronic wide open throttle switch to ensure safe activation. I will be posting few install pics as well as dyno results for 50hp an mabe 65_75hp jets. All aspects of this kit from the car specific instructions to quality of the parts are top notch. Car will have intake, drop in filter, lightweight crank pulley and muffler delete. I will keep anyone interested updated. Thanks[IMG]

Probably gonna be a lot of criticism on this. Nitrous is cheap power, and if it works for your application the way you want it to, that's all that matters. I would do an afr meter to make sure you don't run too lean. May need to have it tuned to keep from running too lean, but I want to say that these cars run the ratios a little rich stock.

saw video spot a while back, i think it was focus sport or perhaps some other aftermarket engine building company, where they talked about using nitrous to find the limits of O.E. engine components. They would start out with like 100 shot and keep adding more and more during dyno stress testing until a component would fail. Then they would make replace what failed with something stronger and up the shot again etc etc. They said it was a very quick and easy way to find the power limits of stock internals for R&D work.
Good luck with the kit. Interested in seeing the results. I might consider something like this except i think most HPDE groups don't want it on track.

EZwood I definitely agree on the afr gauge. Ran them in the pass with nitrous setups. I plan on maken this kit more complex but as for this thread I am trying to keep it simple. Bolt on, test, spray then head to dyno for results. Then after that I will make the kit more advance with other options. Mabe after I upgrade clutch who's to say with a good tune that the 100shot in two 50shot stages cant be done safely. Just trying to keep to a safe but novice level of testing for new users to nitrous.

Why not get an ecutek tune for it? Im sure you can make some pretty nice safe reliable power if you did. I think @Visconti could make a sweet NOS tune.

Can't wait to see these results. There will always be a lot of hate towards nitrous but it has its time and place like everything else.
Will be great to see how the engine responds to nitrous |

I will do a ecutek tune in the near future. First I have to do just a bolt-on 50 and present my results and unbiased opinions for those looking to break into the nitrous world. Mounted the plate, looks good. [IMG]
