FR-S everywhere?
As most of us have noticed with the tC and other scion models that they are very popular and very common, what is every ones take the FR-S, will it be as common as a tC or will it be fairly rare like a base model Camaro(honestly don't see that many camaros around).
I think that the fact it is going to be RWD will lead a lot of people to sway away from the car, especially up here in CT since winter can be bad, and keep it a little more rare. I plan on getting on fully loaded, but may hold off for a 2014 RS. |

If the scion is 20k, it'll be the next civic. Which doesn't lessen its appeal as a car, but if you see one with a FnF wing and a nasty unpainted riveted body kit, then you'll be angry at Toyobaru for making it so accessible.

No joke, I see more Camaros/Challengers/Mustangs than I do Civics and Camrys. They're already starting to get really junky, clanky and faded too. I'm hoping that they simply just don't make as many as the tC. But who knows what will happen - IF they do sell well though, maybe we will see a higher performance version around the corner. |

I think the real reason we all rank on the civic its cuz its FWD. Cuz I mean damn, those things are reliable. - coming from a strong civic disliker
At least the toyobarus are RWD and a lot more better looking.

You have to remember the TC has been around for a LOOOOONNNGGGG time so your going to see alot of them everywhere. And honestly even if we see the FRS and BRZ everywhere I think that's a good sign it's the revival of the scene that died out mid 2000.
If Nissan brings back a good looking SILVIA and bring it to the states, Honda Has another Integra then man... BRZ and FRS have big competitions.

I have been asking myself this question as well, but knowing how Scion markets its cars this can go both ways. It can either be an easy sports car everyone (VERY noob or EXTREME motorists) can enjoy or because of it's 2+2 seating and a lot of people not liking Scion and what they "messed up"(people's complaints) on, it can be a rarity to see in 5-10yrs.
Im sure there will be plenty of these on the roads and may be looked as a slow car with potential. but we will see those ricers with 10k stickers, big spoilers, ugly body kits, hellaflushed, flamed/sparkly paint jobs on them. Pricing is the biggest factor IMO. So like I said, It depends.
