Tuners advice
For a/t particularly mines, I’m sc w/built motor also trans upgrades which I have no problem with slippage but I feel I have a TCM delay issue but only in first gear. In wot on first ill select second at 4500-5000rpms as I'm aware it's no dct so I give it some time to do its thing but it just doesn’t go into second until after I'm face deep in the steering wheel due to redline cut off(a brutal hard cut). So would raising my limiter to 8k allow more leeway for the TCM to do its part? I'm not too worried about the valve train because I have beehive springs and so forth.

I think there's a way to tune for a soft redline.
