Tein Flex Z help?

Okay I installed my tein flex z coilovers yesterday. I threw them on stock as they came in the box and made sure the front 2 and rear 2 thread lengths were the same and tightened up the rings. I think this lowered the car by about half an inch but measurements could be wrong slightly.

Today I got home from work and decided I wanted to go about an much lower all around, well the front I ended up only going down about 3/4 of an inch because there is only 3/4 inch of thread left and this looked good to me. So in the rear I was going to drop them about an inch because they were slightly higher than the front before today.

I measured from the second ring down to the bottom of the locking ring. Started at 2 1/4 inches and so I wanted to go down to 1 1/4 but I got caught at 1 6/16 and it will not let me lower the car anymore. There is still a decent amount of thread showing so my question is, did I bottom out the rear and this is as low as they will go or is something wrong?

I’m sure I sound like a newb and that’s because I am so overlook any dumb things I may have said. But any and all advice is well appreciated!

It sounds to me like if it's locking up, you've reached the low ponit. If you could upload pictures of what you're seeing it'd help a lot! I hate to assume, so I'll err on the side of caution and ask; you're aware that one set is for height adjustment, and one is for pre-load adjustment, correct? get us a couple pictures with good lighting so we can see, and surely we can help. I'm fairly certain that if you're not able to get the ring to turn any further, you're bottomed out; I suspect there's something else playing a role here that we can't see. Granted, I don't recall these being "LOW" coil, an inch and a half or 2" may just be the absolute max you get with them. Some companies will choose to give you less low, rather than get a bad rap with having cars ride like crap on their product.
