Spare Tire Specs

Anyone know the width and offset of the OEM spare tire? Did a quick search, couldn't find anything, maybe I have to search harder when I have more time. Want to approximate a spacer size I'll need to fit it with my BBK.

What size spacer is needed to fit a stock 17x7 with your BBK? I think it would be the same size spacer to make the spare fit.

Edit: Been thinking about this. Two things.

1. A 25mm or 30mm bolt on spacer should work.

2. The spare is going to be smaller diameter than your upgraded tires. Meaning if you get a flat on the rear, you should move a front wheel tire to the rear and put the spare on a front non-drive axle wheel. Different diameters are bad for the differential.

I don't have a full answer for you, but I can say the stock spare + 15mm spacer does NOT clear the AP sprint kit.

Stock spare was 16" or 17"? IIRC from few threads about space-saver spares there was also one 17" subaru spare that fit, maybe it may increase chances of BBK clearance?

Called Subaru of America and they recited info from the users manual: 16x4T (not sure what T means), no offset info. Going to figure a needed spacer size from my BBK fitment template.

Can your BBK even fit in a 16" wheel, or will you need to push the wheel far enough out that the BBK completely clears it?

What about a 2004 (5x100) STI spare wheel? Those can at least clear the STI brembos, so they'll have a better chance of fitting your BBK. You could probably find one on eBay or NASIOC fairly cheaply.
