I'm bored at work and thought I'd watch this video, since I stare at Pikes peak through my office window everyday, and it's a snowy day today!

Is the run open to the public or just for professional runners?

I'm not %100 sure, but if open to public, I'd like to try it at least once in my life.

Garage
It's essentially a normal US toll road with a speed limit. Closed to the public for the race.

This was the culmination of a pretty interesting and fun video series

On the application, you have to include prior racing/competition experience and they will evaluate your entry. Following that will be an invitation letter from PPIHC committee.

The hill climb is an amazing race. I had the honor of racing in it a few times and I have to admit, it is the absolute BEST driving I have ever had the chance to do.

If you have a chance, definitely take it.

I watched the entire series so many times and I felt so bad for Yoshioka. He had to drop out of the formula drift competition too cause I think his driveshaft broke. It's nice how he built a lot of the brz himself instead of just having others do it.
