I hope so =/, cause otherwise... blah. As fickle as this sounds, if Scion offers a decent dealer option for a system then the FRS is a no brainer for me.
I don't want navi cause I'll likely end up getting my own aftermarket headunit with Navi, apps, etc... but I don't relish the idea of building a sub encloser again, just for the sake of not obliterating my trunk space =/. |

The Genesis has grown on me over the years, but I would probably would never buy one.
Not because it's a Hyundai, but because I don't think it stands out quite on its own yet. It seems like a great all around package but with no defining features. The FRS/BRZ is lighter weight, will have a decent shifter, a "unique" boxer engine and a low cd. Kool-aid or not I like the FRS/BRZ better. Even though it might not be "better" than the GC, the FRS reminds me more of an S2000 coupe, whereas the GC reminds me of a 350z. Same class, different philosophies. |

S2000 is more about handling over power but it still has good power. 60% handler and 40% power 350Z is more about power than handling but it still handled well enough 60% Power and 40% handler I feel the FRS will be like the 2+2 s2000 and the GC from my test drive(3.8 Track) felt like the 2+2 350Z. And it's also funny to me since the S2K and the Z is also my favorite Japanese 2 seaters under 35k. That's probably why I like the GC and FRS so much. |

Hm If I remember correctly, Scion's Pioneer unit is one of the best in the industry... and the Genesis has really grown on me too, but I would prolly choose the 3.8 my self. I've never really owned a v6 car before, I didn't have a good exp driving a 2.0t back 2 year ago but who know they've prolly improved significantly.

I love the 3.8 also. I'm not a turbo lover at all. But the 3.8 is smooth, torquey, revvy and makes beautiful noises IMO. If I was to choose the GC in the end it would never be the 2013 model. It would be the 2011-12 3.8 track with the 2013 taillights and a aftermarket front grille.

Been googling for GenCoupe body kits to see what the aftermarket offered for the outgoing one. Unfortunately if they are any indication the ugly new face will be vastly superior than anything aftermarket. They still seem trapped in the F&F bodykit design era...

The weight gain and the new front end is too much for me and if I wanted better handling there's the aftermarket for that. And I like the 310 hp engine so adding 36 more hp isn't a big deal.

Yeah the body kits is trash for it. But most body kits is trash IMO for most cars. But I hope they do something special for the '13 model but I still don't want it.

Yeah I've never even thought of putting a kit on any of my cars but I was curious about where their styling direction went. Turns out the wrong direction. So the new model options are ugly (stock), or uglier + rice. Too bad.
