I don't think it's fake. There appears to be an opening and tiny grill there. hard to tell in these pics.

Of course, it could be like the last gen Mustang hood scoop, which had a black "grill" that was actually a solid piece of plastic...

Those vents actually look real to me. We'll find out in a few weeks.
