its not that its not even close, it may be almost spot on in regards to looks, but fathoms away when looking at the spec chart

^+1 I also believe Tada-san was referring to the specs (L/W/H) being closer to -> MKI while the looks are similar to the MKII.

I am a big fan of the GenCoupe BUT the new facelift will take some time getting used to, they did a great job on the rest of the car like exterior, and especially the interior styling/quality.

So is the final production going to be a Scion FR or a Toyota FT-86? This is really confusing me, first they say it's a collaboration between Toyota and Subaru. Then I heard that they were going to brand it as a new Scion model. So in the end does Toyota get a model of its own?

United States: Scion or Subaru branded vehicles
Elsewhere in the world: Toyota and Subaru branded vehicles

Whether it's an MKI or MKII, I'll get it. The aftermarket support for this car, from performance to aero, will be huge. If you don't particularly like an OEM feature, you'll be able to change it out.

Oh ok, thank you for clearing that up. I live in the US, and do you think there will be any difference between the Toyota and the Scion version of the FT86?
