Classic Rock/Meatloaf.

I may live to regret that.
Especially if it's a track day with your favourite musical performer in the passenger seat beside you singing to you while you drive. You may have a slow day if that's the case.

Captured. Now, how can I use this signature to speed up the process of me getting a car?

And yes, I bet you were one of the first if not the first to get this signed.

if that's the case I want Amy Lee from Evanescence. You can't go wrong with a girl that likes to scream and moan as much as she does!

Scion does like to give out crazy swag and gifts at these things.
If any of you guys know that Scion United thing from 2008, I was one of the owners chosen to go to vegas and use my car in their advertising.
There was an insane amount of stuff that they gave us before, during and after.
got a package with vinyl stickers and a little plaque that, as they said, "would let others know you were chosen as part of Scion United" or something to that effect. was a small decal you could put in the window of your car and a plaque you could stick on your car somewhere letting you know you were XXX out of 500 at scion united. and a small branded folio book to hold stuff we would need while in vegas, name badges, brochure of times things were going to be at and the bus schedule they hired since they would be taking our cars once we arrived.

they payed for our rooms the entire weekend at a resort hotel (some people almost all week depending on what their car was needed for)
Visa cards with scion logos to pay for stuff while we were hanging out on our own.
When we were doing stuff with scion we got a day of going to different stations just doing and getting free stuff, to hold everything, they gave everyone messenger bags that were made out of old scion billboards, which are actually a lot sweeter then that may sound, lmao.
and then that night we got a concert with flo rida and redman.
open bar from dinner to when the bussed us back to our hotels early the next morning, and when the bars closed they just handed out the left over bottles if you asked nice, which probably wasn't in the agenda but whatever :P

after we got back home i got another package in the mail that had more free stuff and a thank you letter and a poster where you could find your car and a personalized version of the magazine they had partnered with for a special issue where the regular generic cover was replaced with a personalized cover that had your name on it.

(you got to take a guest with you for this, so if you get to go do something chances are you can bring a friend)

also, it doesn't surprise me that jack actually signed these, he is a cool easy going guy when he doesn't have to be MR. VP.
He came to dallas in 2007, he and 4/5 of other corp marketing invited about 10 of us to dinner at a nice restaurant and we talked about how we thought the brand was doing and what we thought about several concepts they have floating around internally at that time, one of them was the HAKO concept that they unveiled a few months later. they actually made a change to it that we suggested, surprising and scary to think, lol.

Hollis even remembered me and my friend from that dinner, later at Scion United... he was walking around and we came up and said hello and he immediately said "hey, you're the guys from dallas, i am glad you got picked and got to make it here!"

so unless something has drastically changed on how scion corporate likes to drum up publicity, you guys are in for some sweet perks.

I told everyone that Jack Hollis was tight! Man, this VIP stuff sounds awesome. I wish I won First86.

yea, if you get word of what is going on, scion does some really cool stuff.

i forgot, after that dinner, they asked for our addresses, we thought it was just for a follow up survey or something. they actually sent us all Scion branded OGIO backpacks, I looked online at the time and it was over $100, and special edition JADA Scion tC models that you could only get directly from scion, they were different from the ones you could actually buy. they weren't as riced out, no wing and a darker pearl red and sans stickers ,still had the huge wheels but they were a nicer 5 spoke, lol.

but my main point is that i wouldn't say the keychain should be the end of it and the best you can get!
I have 3 of those leather keychains that i got at the texas state fair, lol.
i want one of the cloth ones to be honest...

As long as he's singing "Bat Out of Hell" and not "Paradise By the Dashboard Light" I'd be cool with that.

Seems like Scion is taking cues from MINI with the key chain and "gifts". I hope they make a big deal about the 1st 86, will be fun.

Did you all check out this video that was uploaded today? It shows the Canadian car show experience of one enthusiast. Cool stuff.
