BMW styling seems to finally be back on track. I've always loved the forward-slanting grilles.

I get the feeling BMW is setting people up for a big let down, because while the concept car looks fantastic, the pre production car running around isn't even remotely close to looking as dramatic. No, it's not the final production vehicle, yes it has camo and yes it might have a few panels hiding things like on the supra, but things like the lights and overall dimensions are not likely to change very much at this point, and they point to a lesser car. Lexus did things right with the LC-LF and LC500, this doesn't appear to have that level of execution. Poor move on BMW's part IMO, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
I'd also like to point out my distaste for traditional concept cars. It's like "Hey, look here at this unbelievable car we designed! What? You want to buy it? No, you can't. But you can have this car that looks like it was penned by the other designer's nearsighted cousin."

but you can see significant differences in the overhangs and hood line. In cars a few inches here and there make a significant difference in the looks. It all remains to be seen of course, but I am not too hopeful.
