I meant in a good way! My bike has a serious intake snort at about 2k, sounds a bit similar. I wonder how the exhaust sounds?

Sucks to be me.

Is there any way to reset the tablet to a factory-new condition? I can no longer write to the tablet (or erase it) using either of my PC's, and that's after a fresh install of Window's 7 Pro to both of them. It errors out after a few minutes of writing activity.

Sucks that I did not do backup of the device after first use, although I don't know if that would have backed up the "OS" of the tablet or not.

can anyone give me a crash course on doing a MAF calibration? due to my intake my fuel trims are pretty negative across the board. I'm sitting between -8 and -10 at WOT also.

I've done it on my mazda before using a cobb accessport, not sure if it is the same process on a subaru. i would run a log gradually accelerating to see what the fuel trims were between maf breakpoints and then adust the maf table in the area up or down that percentage.

yeah, kicks in right before 4K, but I also noticed a loud vibration sound right when it kicks till around 5k RPMs. Is anyone else getting that as well?

Might be something loose in your exhaust or something rattling as it vibrates with all that gas flowing through.

Was what I thought too. I will need to get a better look at the exhaust. This started right after I switched to E85. It did not make this sound when it was 91 octane... may be coincidence

I really don't see a change in fuel to be the cause of any rattles or new sounds. But what I have noticed over the past 20 years of doing this stuff is that users tend to pay more attention to things when they make changes. And this extra attention usually reveals things that were always there but never noticed before

This might sound crazy, but last year I got a mysterious sound that I couldn't find the source of for a bit, that only occurred in high revs. It ended up being the shift knob. It didn't sound like it was coming from there either.

So check the little spinny thing below the knob and see if it's loose.
